01Who you are contracting with
Your contract is with HopeAmazon Consultoria em Sustentabilidade S.A., a company incorporated in Brazil, with its seat in Porto Velho, State of Rondônia, Brazil, registered under CNPJ 35.234.992/0001-04 ("HopeAmazon", "we"). HopeAmazon Consultoria em Sustentabilidade S.A. is the parent company, the party responsible for delivering the service and the party you hold to these Terms.
Why your card statement says “AW Hope”
Payments are collected by AW Hope LLC, a company in the United States, acting on behalf of HopeAmazon Consultoria em Sustentabilidade S.A. as its payment processing entity. Billing is in US dollars.
This means the descriptor on your card statement, and on Stripe receipts, will read “AW Hope” rather than “HopeAmazon”. This is not a second company selling you something. It is the same service: AW Hope LLCprocesses the payment, HopeAmazon Consultoria em Sustentabilidade S.A. is your counterparty and owes you the service.
Your rights under these Terms — cancellation, the 14-day withdrawal right, refunds, data protection — are owed to you by HopeAmazon Consultoria em Sustentabilidade S.A. and are unaffected by which entity appears on the statement. You can exercise them through the contact below, whichever name you saw on your card.

02What is being sold
A pre-reservation of a quantity of hectares of Amazon rainforest chosen by you.
Protection has not started
The PSA agreements with the landowners have not been signed at the date of these Terms. Consequently, no area is under active protection today, and what you acquire is the right to have your reserved hectares protected once those agreements are in force.
We expect this within one to two months and a court injunction is already in place. That is an expectation, not a contractual deadline. The binding commitment we give you is the refund in clause 05.

The subscription does not transfer ownership or possession of land, is not a carbon credit or offset, is not a financial investment, and is not a token or crypto-asset.
03Price, renewal and cancellation
The economic terms, in full
Quantity multiplies the price in both plans. You choose the number of hectares (N) and the price per hectare is applied to it.
Annual plan — N × USD 220, charged once. A single payment taken at purchase. While it remains a pre-reservation there is no recurring charge. When protection begins, the annual cycle starts from that moment — the payment you made covers the first year counted from activation, so you lose none of the time spent waiting.
Monthly plan — N × USD 22, charged every month from the date of purchase. This is a recurring charge and it begins immediately, before protection starts. It runs every month until you cancel — it does not stop after twelve months. Over twelve months it totals USD 264 per hectare, more than the USD 220 of the annual plan, which is the discounted way to pay. You are told this in a highlighted notice on the checkout page before any payment is taken.
VAT is included in the price displayed — the amount shown is the amount charged.
Cancellation. At any time, from your dashboard, with no fee and no notice period.
Failed payment (monthly plan). If a charge fails, we email you and hold your reservation for a 7-day grace period. If payment is still not collected, the reservation lapses. It is reinstated if payment later succeeds.
Price changes. We will not change the price of a running monthly plan without giving you at least 30 days' notice by email before the change takes effect, so that you can cancel first.
04Right of withdrawal — 14 days
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may withdraw from this contract within 14 days of it being concluded, without giving any reason.
To exercise it, tell us clearly — an email to contato@hopeamazon.com is enough. You may use the model form below, but you are not obliged to. We will refund all payments received within 14 days of being informed, using the same means of payment you used.

05The six-month guarantee, and other refunds
If protection has not begun within 6 months of your purchase
You are entitled to a full refund of everything you have paid — the whole annual payment, or every monthly charge taken. The six months are counted from the date of your purchase.
Monthly billing also pauses automatically. We stop charging you without you having to ask. This is a technical safeguard we run daily, not a promise to remember: no one is billed indefinitely for a service that has not started.
To claim the refund, email us. We will not ask you to justify the request.
Cancelling before then. On the monthly plan, cancelling stops future charges; the current month is not refunded after the 14-day withdrawal window, as the period is short. On the annual plan, if you cancel a pre-reservation before protection has begun, we refund it in full.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of the request being accepted.
06Your account
You need an account to subscribe. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe it has been compromised.
We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently, unlawfully, or to abuse the service. If we close an account without cause on your part, we refund the unused portion of the period paid for.
07What we promise, and what we do not
We commit to applying subscription revenue to the protection programme described at What you get, and to describing the state of that programme honestly, including its gaps.
We do not guarantee a specific environmental outcome. Protecting forest depends on landowners, public authorities, weather and enforcement — factors outside our control. We do not claim that a subscription makes you, or any activity of yours, carbon-neutral or climate-neutral.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Nothing here removes the mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.

How we handle personal data, including international transfer and your rights, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
09Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights or the price, we notify active subscribers by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing the subscription after that date means you accept the change; if you do not, cancel before it takes effect.
10Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts of Porto Velho, State of Rondônia, have jurisdiction.
This does not deprive you of consumer protection. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of habitual residence, and you may bring proceedings in your own local courts. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
