We are not selling a promise. The PSA contracts with the landowners are signed and protection is live.
Why we exist
Brazil's Forest Code (Law 12.651/2012) mandates that 80% of Amazon rural properties remain as untouched Legal Reserve. In practice, landowners must protect the world's most valuable ecosystem at their own expense, with zero compensation. The economic equation rewards destruction and penalises preservation.
HopeAmazon breaks that equation. The first areas are registered and going through PSA contracting (Pagamento por Serviços Ambientais · Law 14.119/2021), with an anti-deforestation clause provided for in each individual agreement. Monitoring is monthly, by Sentinel-1 radar, and already runs over the contracted areas. The monthly area report is produced, tested end to end, and goes out at the first monthly close after the first subscription.
What we sell is a verifiable service: hectares counted against areas mapped by polygon, monitored, registered and reported · from USD $22/month. Not a donation. Not a carbon credit. Not speculation. Real protection, with public evidence.
HopeSchool
HopeSchool is a social initiative connected to the HopeAmazon ecosystem, built from real engagement with Amazon communities and territories.
During field visits, the team identified opportunities for educational support and dialogue with local communities, opening the way for initiatives that connect preservation, education and human development.
HopeSchool is designed to evolve alongside the project · respecting the territory, listening to the communities and building actions that strengthen the link between environmental protection and social impact.

Prove
Three properties under signed PSA contracts, with the anti-deforestation clause in force. Sentinel-1 radar reads them every month and the reading is recorded. The monthly report is produced in Portuguese and English, and delivery is built and tested — none has gone out because there is no subscriber to receive it. The first one goes out at the close following the first subscription.

Scale
More areas under contract and more subscribers funding them, once the report is going out. Every new area passes the same checks first — deed, CAR, CCIR and embargoes — and nothing is signed before they clear. Growth is gated on the documents, not on a date.
- Phase 3 · conditional
Certify
Submission of the areas to a recognised biodiversity standard, conditional on an external audit. No credit is described as available, and none is sold, before a certifier has approved it. If the audit does not clear, this phase does not happen.
