From orbit to the record.

The pipeline has six stages between orbital capture and the auditable record. Delivery is monthly, compositing every pass of the month. Four stages are live; what is missing is labelled below.

Satellite imagery

Monthly Sentinel-1 radar composite, clipped to each area's polygon, written to the database and to Storage. Radar is not photography: it reads canopy structure and it gets through cloud — which is why there is a reading every month, all year round.

Live

Change detection

INPE DETER deforestation alerts and NASA FIRMS heat sources, filtered by each area's actual perimeter — not a bounding box, not a radius from the centroid. Ten years queried: zero alerts inside the three perimeters, 130 within the surrounding 10 km, the nearest 0.91 km from the boundary. Our own NDVI detection is not deployed.

Live

Auditable record

Every protection event creates a named record in the database, with its own identifier and date. No blockchain is involved.

Live

Polygon mapping

SICAR polygons loaded in the database and rendered on the map for all three areas, in SIRGAS 2000. It is the same polygon that clips the satellite image in the report. The polygon belongs to the area, not to an individual hectare.

Monthly reports

Every closed month produces PDFs in Portuguese and English in the bucket. The report covers the area — collective, with one individual line. Delivery is built and tested; none has gone out because there is no subscriber to receive it yet.

Governance

PSA contracts and documentary due diligence on the areas. Documentary verification is currently self-declared by the landowner.
