One address, answered by people
contato@hopeamazon.com is the single address for every subject — support, billing, data protection, press and partnerships. It is read by the team in Porto Velho and answered in Portuguese or English.
01Who you are contracting with
Your counterparty is HopeAmazon Consultoria em Sustentabilidade S.A., CNPJ 35.234.992/0001-04, seated in Porto Velho, State of Rondônia, Brazil. It is the Brazilian parent company, the controller of your personal data, and the entity bound by the Terms you accept at checkout.
Payments are collected in US dollars by AW Hope LLC (United States), acting on behalf of HopeAmazon Consultoria em Sustentabilidade S.A. as its payment processing entity. This is why your card statement reads “AW Hope” and not the full company name. It is the same service with a single counterparty — the arrangement is described in the Terms.
02What to write about, and where it goes
- Your subscription — charges, cancellation, refunds, the certificate in your name, or how many hectares you sustain. Include the email address on the account; we do not ask for card numbers and will never request them by email.
- Personal data — access, correction, portability, deletion, or any right under Brazil's LGPD (Law 13.709/2018) or the EU GDPR. The same address serves as the data protection contact; the Privacy Policy explains what survives deletion and why.
- Offering land — if you own Amazon rainforest and want it evaluated for a PSA contract, say where it is and send the deed and CAR number. Every area goes through deed, CAR, CCIR and embargo checks before anything is signed.
- Press, ESG and partnerships — the same address. There is no separate press desk, and pretending otherwise would only add a hop.
03What we do not have yet
There is no support phone line, no live chat and no ticket portal. One address, answered by people, is what the current size of the operation actually sustains — a number nobody picks up is worse than no number.
We have not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer or an EU representative under GDPR Article 27, and we are not required to at our current scale. Data protection requests go to the address above and are handled by the company directly, within the deadlines set out in the Privacy Policy.
